1985 Chevy S10 Truck
Only has 115,000 miles, well taken care of. But when I drove home the electronic module went out had to replace, 1 week or so later I checked under my hood and my battery exploded.
I wanted to check radiator to see if water was flowing through radiator so I removed cap turned on truck the water did not go down much at all, but battery started hissing I turned off and noticed a gurgly discolored white foamy liquid coming out beneath the "Head" (I think thats what you call it) the metal casing that has my oil cap on it... Any input on why battery blows? Anyone know where to get cheap parts for my truck? I love this truck... |

Quote:
Lose connections or shorts or jumping or bad battery with internal short can blow a battery.
