Replacement carpets??

I have a 99 silverado ext cab with 150k on it, I was wondering if anybody has and review (good or bad) about any replacement carpets. I was looking into a company call ACC that is being sold at numerous parts stores, or LMC. The price is about $160 for the ACC and $210 for the LMC. I have looked into OEM from GM and I can get one there for $489 plus tax. But they are on back order.

What do you think?? Thanks

Smile Re: Replacement carpets??

Well I guess I'll be the guinea pig. I ordered one today, I know people will ask how these are. I have a heel hole in my drivers side and the carpet smells from wet damp carpet. I will learn to buy a good quality molded mat. I will get one this time. I also wanted to change the color from dark graphite to medium grey. Thanks guys, and I keep you posted on the quality and ease of installation (trimming, cutting, fitting etc.)

Will keep you all posted.....

I cant comment on what the quality of these are ...the install is usually not difficult if you remove all the seats...clean and dry thoughly any water,,,do not use old wet jute...repair any rust now...

should smell alot better..

Re: Replacement carpets??

I have known several people who say the quality of auto custom carpets is good, don't know personally though. I have used LMC and they have good carpets as a general rule. What jCAT said though, pull the seats out and they are not tough. Floor shifters and consoles obviously. Not a tough job, just time consuming, so if you don't have a good day s time to do it right, wait until you do.

Re: Replacement carpets??

I ordered my new carpet from stockinteriors.com a few summers ago and it came in a ACC carton. I was a bit nervous after recieving it because I had heard some bad things about ACC Carpets. So I called stockinteriors.com and they assured me it would fit or they would send me out another or refund my money.

Welp....I installed it and
it fit great
looks excellent
2 years later and it showing no wear at all.

I love it !!!
