1996 Grand Am 3.1; No Power to Starter Solenoid/Relay

Checking power from the ignition down and can't find Neutral Safety Switch; can anyone tell me how to get to it?

Any other ideas welcome as well:

Key turns, gears shift, lights on, will not start. No clicking, nothing. Almost like the battery is dead but it's not; it's brand new and I took it back to have it checked just in case.

Check for uniform + nonuniform corrosion on copper, it will look blueish or green in color.
Copper corrosion could add resistance and drop a voltage, some of the battery will be lost going to the starter.

We have seen batteries, starters, and alternators replaced premature, because of bad cables.

Find your power booster then look down on the transmission right in front of the power booster, (when you look down) you will see NSS it is black and is about 2x1 inch in size with connectors on two opposite sides, and shifter linkage connected to it.

in this case you can start in reverse order: see if your starter solenoid is getting powered when someone is cranking for you, this will save you a lot of time.
