replace tierods,not struts=
1998 lumina with about 120,000 miles on it. after alot of heavy thinking i plan to only replace tie rods. it seems alot of owners ain,t impressed with their new struts anyway. my honest, shady tree mechanic owns a lumina and installed "gabriel" his car and is highly unhappy with em.

Re: replace tierods,not struts=
Gabriel and Monroe struts many people complain about a wavy ride after installation. Its always best to stick with genuine GM replacement shocks and springs.
By replacing "tie rods", do you mean the tie rod ends? If so, here is a write-up you can follow. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=929004
