new rims

I saw the Vibe this past weekend at a Pontiac dealership.
NICE RIDE

I am seriously thinking about getting one.....but
I really don't like the way it sits on the 16" rims.
Don't think the 17" are worth the cash, I would rather put chrome and spend a little more. Plus, I would like a wider wheel also so I think the 17" wouldn't be exactly what I'm looking for.

I thought I might want to drop it down, but I think larger rims and tires would fill the wheel well out nicely and keep the car at a descent ground to chasis ratio.

So, are there any reasons why I couldn't put some nice big rims and tires on this ride?

anybody have the same ideas or lowerd one?

What else should I think about before buying?

The Vibe is not available in 17" rims (or large) in combination with the moonroof. Its a body flex issue and GM/Toyota experienced shattered/cracked moonroofs when they tested it. However, 16" rims and a moonroof are ok.

If you want to see more, I suggest you go here:

Each of these sites have many many Vibe/Matrix owners who have alot of experience modding out there cars.
