Ferrari F187/88, Fujimi 1/20
Hi
some gallery pics of my 88 Ferrari with the likeable Tyrolean Berger on the steering wheel. The new Fujimi kit is an easy build, no problems; I like the fine carbon structure on the wings and the bottom plate. There are only 2 things you have to be careful with a) don't use too much paint between cowling and monocoque to prevent fitting issues and b) the instructions say you should add turbos and cooler first, then monocoque, then engine. But all those parts will be connected at the end, which can be done much easier if you add turbo, cooling and engine together first, and the monocoque later. EDIT: Oh, I forgot to mention problem c) the 28 decal is wrong, the number has to be translucent in the middle of the 8, I had some spares I used Zero Paints Rosso 70/80, Zero 1k clear, Tamiya gun metal and Aquacolors. The belts are made from Leukosilk and some etched parts, seat structured with microballs and the usual wires around the engines. Hope you like it.
