Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 6

kit: Tamiya Lancer Evolution 6
Paint: Mitsubishi T36 (Reims blue)

This one is mostly box stock with some details added, built just to add to my collection of Evolutions. This color looks much better than my old 6 though.

Projects started in 2009:

So now I have Evolution 3, 4, 5, 6, TME(6.5), 7, 8 completed. The 3 and 7 are built in the early 2000's, I will hopefully build them again in the near future.

During the replicating of my own TME bumpers I have also made a small traffic cone mold to hold my leftover casting resins.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

and to display my models properly, I am planning to make a simple diorama to photograph my cars in. So far I have only taken small steps, including this practice asphault pavement sample.

Thanks for reading!

Re: Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 4

Another good-looking evo! This is the first evo6 model I've seen painted in this purplish-blue color. I wish either Gunze or Tamiya can make spraypaint for it.

Re: Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 4

despiting the precision of TAMIYA's model, I found that Fujimi and Hasgawa have a more accurate side profile of the mitsu-evolution than Tamiya made.

Nice mitsu-evo collection, very clean and neat work!!

Nice collection friend!!! I think you have to show them all!! I love Evos, he he... Hey, the 3 & 5 are Fujimi's. I love the early models, but are very difficult to find nowadays...

The color is solid blue.

and for the rest of the guys wondering about the asphault, it is made from sand and black paint. The black paint didnt need to be anything fancy but would work better at holding the sand grains together if it's thick. There is a video on youtube which I followed the procedures on.
