Got a Question for yall
I found a 1991 240 with a J30 lsd for $800. The catch is that it has a blown head gasket. My questions is how hard and how exspensive would it be for me to fix it myself?
"selling because I think it has a blown head gasket but not sure, theres not water in the oil so im not sure what the problem is. motor turns over but wont fire up.selling because I think it has a blown head gasket but not sure, theres not water in the oil so im not sure what the problem is. motor turns over but wont fire up." -this is what the seller says. Tell me what you think it is. |

Re: Got a Question for yall
who knows. its not really all that hard of a headgasket job, the intake manifold can be ignorant at times but if all else fails take the brace off the bottom and pull it with the head.
but you should have the block and head checked for warpage in the event of an overheat. and if you get the block milled you need to get the timing cover milled at the same time or you will blow another one.
