Paul Newman Corvette logo question.
Anyone know what this is? Says? It is on all of the 79,80, & 81 numbered Red White and Blue C5s he raced at Limerock. Sorry for the size, it's the best/largest one I could find.

Re: Paul Newman Corvette logo question.
This is a little bit bigger and maybe you can enhance or clean it up better to read it:

Re: Paul Newman Corvette logo question.
Connecticut's Own is the Mazda Volvo dealership that was owned by Paul Newman and Michael Brockman. Brockman is the sole owner now. Paul and Brock were racing partners that drove a similar GT1 Corvette and Camero. They also were co drivers of the Daytona 24 hour cars and won in 1995.
As you know, Paul changed his racing number each year to be match his age. The Corvette you are interested in is sitting in the garage in the back of the Connecticut's Own Dealership in Milford. It has not moved since Paul passed away. The last Volvo wagon built for Paul with the ZR1 engine is also in the garage. |
