Brake Problem..Maybe bad Wheel Bearing?

I just replaced all of my Pads on a 1998 Blazer and when i drove it down the road it seems to hang up or seem like it is under tremendous haul.
I took it to a garage and they told me they had to clean up the calipers because the wheel seal was bad and it was letting grease get into where the E-brake shoes are....(never heard of E-brake shoes) they said they needed to replace the seals but it was more money then I had at the time to have them do anything more.
Even when they got rid of the screaching brake noise it still seems, and smells like some of my pads are rubbing when the pedal is not applied.
NOTE: when I changed the pads all of them sore evenly except the passenger rear..it seemed like that set was pretty decent while the other ones were almost to the revets.

Your 98 has 4 wheel ABS disc brakes. The parking brake is inside a drum which is part of the rear disc. There are 2 parking brake shoes on each side. The business about axle seals leaking grease on the parking shoes will not affect braking unless the grease gets on the pads. Probably a good idea to replace the seals if they're leaking.

The brakes hanging up is probably caused by the rear brakes. Any time the rear disc brakes are serviced, the rotor should be machined or replaced, the calipers should be replaced along with the pads, mounting bracket and hardware. Most auto parts stores carry a remanufactured loaded caliper assembly, they come with everything but the rotor... unbolt the old, bolt on the new, and bleed... done! The rear brakes are not used nearly as much as the fronts, as a result, the caliper rusts & seizes to the guide pins, the hardware seizes, and the caliper piston binds in the bore. If you live in the "rust belt" more than likely this is what you need.

also could be one of the calipers is hanging up (not releasing all the way) i have a simalar problem i heard its common with these trucks i had that anoying sound and come to find out the ebreak shoes were haning up so i took them out until i could replace them i never use the ebrake so it wont affect me in anyway until inspection time hopefully ill have the money to replace them but now im getting a rub sound again from the rea passenger as well and the only thing it could be now is this caliper issue i did front pads n rotors but the rears werstill in good shape at the time so i left them alone but now with the noise im prolly gonna have to look at them again and im sure its time to do the rears
