95 f150 fuel filter

i have a 1995 f150 4x4 straight 6. how do you remove the gas lines from the filter? there appears to be a straight connector on both ends of the filter without any plastic clips to squeeze together. do i need a special tool to release it? thanks.........jeff.......

Yep. Here is one style. Here are lots more. You can find them at your local auto parts store.

little round tool goes in and squeezes the tabs
