Dodge 2009 Charger SRT8 Superbee (Clay Kemp Inspired)

Hey guys,

Here is a build that ive been working on for awhile, I really liked the shape after seeing the movie Street Kings, so picked one up on sale.
Kit is awesome, almost 200 parts about 30 on the suspension alone!!!
I wanted a badass looking street car, so changed the Rims, lowered it & a new intake, exhaust & NOS system. The paint job was inspired by an article in Scale Auto by Clay Kemp on painting a Nascar Camo charger. I loved the look of this but wanted to change the colours.

Thanks for Looking, let me know what you think....

Hope you like it!!!

Very cool paint job! It turned out great. I also like the intake. The box around he filter is neat. Is that home-made?

What manufacturer made the kit?

Looks like the lindberg super bee kit.

Looks great man! Nice paint work/scheme. Are those Aoshima 20s? Not used to seeing wheels that actually fit in those wheel wells.

You certainly succeeded in getting the look you were after, it looks really mean! Nice wheels and stance. I like the unusual paint job. With the 70's style background paper you used in the photos the effect is a bit 'trippy' (but cool)!

I love the engine detail, but outdoor pics i think would give it more justice.

Hey guys, thanks heaps for the comments...
Yes the kit is the Lindenberg Superbee which i think was tooled by Testors.

Intake sheild is sheet styrene with Kevlar & heat shield, Intake is rod styrene with CF. The kit piece is inaccurate for a Superbee

Wheels are Aoshima 20" Blitz wheels painted gloss black. I didnt like the kit wheels, they look cool on the box, but disapoint in the box, i think they measure out at 18" wheels with MASSIVE tyres!!! Why do almost all kit manufactors get the tyres wrong, ive read its a common problem with AMT & Revell

Thanks Again
Ash

Beautiful! It looks like it's ready for a fight. That CF/CK intake is really nice, that caught my eye.
