4runner axle seals
85 4runner rear axle seals inside and out replacement anybody like to help me locate those seals. Found the inside,no biggy, outside not sure. I think it's where the bearing is in the backing plate. Am I right?

There's an oil seal and bearing on the backing plate. The oil seal in the axle housing is usually the one that starts leaking. When you slide the axle shaft back in, do not let the weight of the shaft sit on the new seal, or you can damage it.
