honda motor
do any of you guys know of any 1/24 scale (not 1/25) honda models with detailed motors. B series or h series, preferably. I know that the revell integra model has a detailed engine but it is 1/25, and slightly smaller tham i would like it to be.

I have yet to see any 1/24 scale Hondas with engine detail. It would be cool to see a 1/24 Prelude with engine detail for sure. Let me know if you should find anything.

Tamiya NSX kits have engines, als not sure, but I *think* Tamiya S800 comes with an engine. But most importantly, the Tamiya Prelude XX has an engine. But it's rare and OOP The only other option is to buy Sakatsu S2000 engine.

i just went and checked out that prelude model, and it is a bit old. I know that the old preludes like that came with a bseries motor in one model form or another, but do you know if this one has a b series motor.

I dont remember the engine code on the old preludes, (the 83-87?) They were close to the 85-89 Accords, a single cam. I do know the 88-91's had either the old b20 or b21 depending on year. I want a 1/24 h22!!!!!! I want to build a copy of mine, but I think trying to fab a 1/24 h-series valve cover may be a little hard.

You could use the Revell B-series block (though it would be a little small)
the hardest nearly impossible part would be the writing on the valve cover. |

The one one I have found was my 85 Prelude from Tamiya and it only came with a SOHC carburated motor (scratch built an intake manifold and intake to look like fuel injection on it) other than this model I have not found any others.
