Here are my Nissan models.

Fujimi Skyline I did this kit a long time ago so i can't remember any of the info on it. The rims came off a Fujimi Honda van.

Tamiya Xanavi NISMO GT-R (R35). I added some Scale Motorsport Carbon fibre to the car. The chrome is the best I have ever seen in a kit.

Tamiya R390 GT1

Re: a few Nissans

Very nice, I especially like the NISMO GT-R. Thought this begs the question, when are you going to get done with the rest of the Nissan line

Nice kits. But I the R35 is not a skyline anymore. I cringe whenever people call it a Skyline, but nevertheless, great workmanship.

That's like Dodge SRT-4 purists saying their SRT-4 isn't a Neon. Its a Neon without the badge.

In all seriousness, yes, they haven't badged it a "Skyline" but regardless its no secret the intent was there. One example of course is the carry over and successor of the chassis code. Also, remember years back when the rumors first started flying about the project that Nissan might badge it under Infiniti?

To me it sounded like Nissan wanted to try and shed its "boy street racer" image and start being taken serious with the likes of Porsche, Ferrari, Mercedes, etc.

Don't get me wrong, I love the Skyline but being picky over a name is pointless. In pure Japanese form I'd say its more about the "soul" and "character", then the name.
