1996 wheel problem

When i push on my brakes the wheel rubs on the splash guard i think its a alignment problem. How much does an alignment usually cost.

Re: 1996 wheel problem

If it's rubbing, then there just about has to be something loose. Most likely a lower control arm bushing. Check that out, then have the alignment checked. We charge 1/2 hour to check the alignment, and 1 hour and up to adjust it, depending on what needs done and the vehicle. Simple toe/camber on a Cavalier, probably 1 hour unless it's really rusty and needs to be heated to break it loose. Camber involves removing the struts and elongating the holes, so quite a bit more there.
