Diagnostics and tuning

anyone know of a diagnostics and redline/shiftpoints etc. tuner for a 2000 ford escort? its the 2.0 split-port. and what would be an acceptable redline? i was thinking of 6000 from 5500 rpm with some piston and possibly connecting rod lightening eg. taking off rough casting, shortening piston skirts.
