Tamiya Nissan R390 Photoetch help
it says to remove molded in detail for many of the pieces, does this mean remove and sand cleanly or just chop it off. I dont have experience with photoetch as intricate as this.

Re: Tamiya Nissan R390 Photoetch help
Im not sure which set your using, Studio 27 or SMS, but usually it just means to sand off any raised detail molded to the kit part usually so that the PE piece will sit flat on the plastic it attaches to. Generally if it is required to completely remove something they will show it in detail in the intructions. If you could be more specific i could be more helpful but these are the general rules.

Re: Tamiya Nissan R390 Photoetch help
its the SMS kit. Im looking at the front end detail and the intercoolers. I dont understand what its asking me to remove on the intercoolers, maybe just the molded in straps that go around the housing?
