96 Dodge Tranny problems???

Just looked to see were all the fluid came out under the van. Noticed that the case in the back of the trans pan has a huge whole in it.. Looks like it came from the inside outwards. Also there is a piece of a gear floating around inside. Doesn't look like it is going to be fixable. Any ideas.. BUMMIN

Sounds like the pin on the sider gearshas worn a hole in the housing.

Differential assy blown,,,cross pin that retains spyder gears pushes out machining the case {rips a hole} thus blowing atf out the bell hsg,,,must have got-er stuck!!!!!...very common on these

Not sure what you mean by all done. The transmission will need to be replaced, existing one cannot be repaired.
