hmmm

i am asking this because im about to do an engine swap (d16y8(no distributor) to 88dx). i was thinking of getting the y8 ECU and distributor but is obd2 and the wiring for that would be a bitch you know, but if i get the z6 ECU and Z6 distributor its obd1 and i dont know if the wiring is hard because there are harnesses around here that are for sale. what do you guys think?

Many people prefer obd1 because of less sensors which means less codes. On the other hand with the Y8 you have a newer engine so hopefully less problems. IMO I'd say go Z6.

Stock for stock the Y8 head flows a little better, and it can be converted to OBDI.
