1/43 Enco Jensen Interseptor MkIII

Another small scale build of a glorious Jensen Interceptor from a 1/43 kit of now defunct Enco. Very basic and crude kit that I re-worked a bit to make look like a decent model. Here is the stuff that was done to it:
- Replaced all 4 headlights with turned steel bezels
- Clear epoxy covers for the lights
- Bare Metal Foil for trim and some bright-work
- Rubber bumperette coverings
- Custom license plates
- Mesh in the fender vents
- Hand made badges and emblem decals in the front and on sail panels
- New instrument gauges (non supplied w/ the kit)
- Scratch-made shifter
- Chrome trim rings around vents and gauges on the dash
- Real leather upholstery on the package shelf

Thanks!

Now there's something you don't see every day! Nice!

Really nicely done, Alex

A very interesting build coming you, but I cant help but think it looks "Matchboxy". I know its the kit Alex and certainly your skill shines through. Nice build.

Re: 1/43 Enco Jensen Interseptor MkIII

Amazingly clean finish & detail for 1:43 scale. Something about the body shape doesn't seem quite right, I think that maybe the windscreen is a bit too deep, but still good to see a model of the rarely seen Interceptor which is a top motor!
