2004 Grand Prix GT trim piece missing

I just bought this car with 61,000 miles on it and there is a trim piece that is missing, and its driving me nuts! It is just below the ignition where the key goes, and is just to the left of the radio. It appears to be some kind of access panel because I can see some screws inside where the plastic piece is supposed to be.

I don't know where to begin looking for this part online because I do not even know what it is called! Can anyone help me?

I would send Ed Morad's Part company an email. Tell them what you need and what color your interior is. I'd be willing to bet he could help you out.

Its a piece of rubber that just pops into that spot. Its there to cushion the blow of your keys knocking into it when you go around corners and over bumps. You should be able to pull one from a junk yard, they just pop out, no screws and its made of rubber.

I did not know about Ed morads parts...... I live about 5 miles from there. I will have to pay them a visit to see what he has.

Boy I wish I live that close to Morads. They would be my favorite parts place.
