change instrument panel to the Digital speedo and added gages?
I have 2 instrument cluster from a 91-93 LTZ with the tach, digital speedo, and all the other gages that caprice and classic did not have, this is the same instruments in the police cars. Has anyone installed this cluster in a standard caprice or classic?? the Caprice cluster had one large plug, the LTZ has 2 smaller plugs.. I wonder how involved this would be? A larger plug that has a bolt throughi is shared by both cars. thanks

Re: change instrument panel to the Digital speedo and added gages?
Don't know about the 91 and later guages but in my '87 I switched from the deluxe cluster to the police cluster and even though the single plug was exactly the same, I had to switch around all the wires to new positions. My info came from the factory service manual. Good luck on the swap, I'm sure somebody has done it. Might check the 9C1 forums if you don't find anything here.

Re: change instrument panel to the Digital speedo and added gages?
What I did was got a shop service manual and did a wire match up, spliced the old wires into the new cluster, and it worked. I highly recomend just connecting all the wires together first and testing it before actually installing it into the dash.
