Re: no spark

The local Auto parts store can do a test on your ignition control module.

Re: no spark

What about fuse's, or security system?
Is there a battery getting to the ignition parts?

New parts!
New ignition pickup
New ignition module

If the orginal ignition module was bad, it could of shorted and blown a fuse.

Re: no spark

Newer cars might have a safety switch to disable the electric fuel pump when the gas is low, this help to prevent the fuel pump from burning up.

1) Have the local auto parts store test your ignition module.
2) Check the fuse going to the ignition module.

Was the magnetic pickup coil replaced in the distributer?

Re: no spark

The pink wire at the ignition coil must have battery voltage any time the ignition is in the RUN or CRANK position.

The white wire at the ignition coil should pulse while cranking.

Check both pink and white wires at the module connection for the same results.

Post your results.
