won't turn over when cold
Chevy S10 won't turn over when it has sat over night and it's cold. No click no nothing. I have checked and cleaned battery terminals and cables are tight on all ends. once started it will turn over and start every time?

Re: won't turn over when cold
Welcome to the Forum. Please provide make Model and year when posting. Here is a little trick that you can try that is quick, free and easy. When the truck won't turn over, take a metal rod like a tire iron, and reach over the top of the front passenger tire and gently but firmly tap on the Solenoid that sits on the top of the starter. The Bendix/Solenoid on some of the older models will stick and a few taps will allow the spring inside to do its job. If this works, you will probably have to replace the Solenoid and/or the starter, or tap on it every time it won't start. I know this may sound stupid, but I did it to my 93 S-10 for 6 months.
