they'll need some good money in OR a damned good driver w/ about a 75 shot who's crazy enough to use it on a stock motor. but...anything near stock...won't be a problem at all, even if u shift like a woman

Hate to say it, but the only truly sporty Honda is the S2000. My HX is WAY gutless (bought it for the MPG), and the 2003 Si they gave me as a loaner while installing the A/C was only mildly arousing. C'mon Honda....give us the Type-R!!!

I think that stat time for spec v in 1/4 are a little slow i have seen a stock spec v run 15.3 in 1/4.

Depends on how you mod it. If you just do the typical intake, header and exhaust, you're gonna need more than just a prayer more to hang with that SE-R. I currently just have intake, exhaust, and adjustable fuel pressure regulator on my Civic DX coupe, and I hear if I up grade my cam shaft to a GUDE or Deltacam similar cam, just that mod alone will up me by about 20hp, add in the DX to EX intake manifold swap I plan to do eventually here, and I could probably give a good run that would be able to hang with an SE-R, not beat nessacerily, but hang. Nitrous would be the easiest/cheapest way to do it, but I dunno if that would make one simply hang with you or, flat out pass you up. I'd think a 6th gen ('99 - '00) Civic Si coupe would give you a good run too, straight from the factory. It does a 15.5 - 15.8 quarter mile, so I think it would have a good chance, not to mention that B16A2 motor is quite a piece of mechanics.

i would look for any rsx and new si's. but i would try to run you in my hx so watch out . if your ever at stop light and see a beat looking civic with nice brakes (big calipers and such) try to run that.. alot of races always come down to driver unless your car are way diffrent. ie- metro vs. nsx

I said HONDA...not ACURA. And, just to clarify a little more, I'm talking about HONDA USA.:bonghitte

:hehehe: seems that way now doesn't it? either that or forced induction of sometype...

ooo...well i was jus sayin if ur talkin bout all of honda's usa products. if its only the good ol' hondas, then i'd agree. w/ out the prelude in their line up (which wasn't TRULY a sports car, but im stretching a bit) even if the CTR comes over, i won't consider it a tru sports car either. its got some nice numbers, but styling isn't going to do it for me...its a mini oddessy type r....
