Thermostat and other PROBLEMS

Hi,
I have a 99 grand am 4 cyl. SE that I'm having a few problems with. First, where is the thermostat located? I've been hearing its in the obvious spot right between the top radiator hose and block but also I've read its on the bottom of the engine somewhere??? Also a few weeks ago my car started to click like the turn signal is on but its a bit faster and does it at random times. Sounds just like the turn signal but does it whenever. And last, the red seatbelt light on my instrument panel will flash at random times. It will flash on and off a few times, then it might disappear for a little bit, but it will come back and flash again randomly (while i'm buckled) like I'm not buckled. Doesn't seem to be a pattern to it either. I looked under both seats and only the drivers side seems to have any plugs and it all seems to be plugged in? Any answers to either or all 3 of these questions would be GREAT! Thanks

Re: Thermostat and other PROBLEMS

1. t-stat - follow upper radiator hose near the engine
2. your multifunction switch must be cleaned to stop ticking
3. loose seat belt switch (try locking in the seat belt and keep it in the same position do not move the buckle left or right and if light remains off this will confirm that the problem is in the switch
