944 new buyer help
im thinkin about buying a 944 and ive got alot of questions. for starters does a 3L come in a 944, another question is will the 2.5 2.5turbo and the 3L all inter swap into a 944 body. any and all help is appreciated. oh last question- which motor has the highest hp potenial

from 1989-1991 3.0L were the standard for the 944, the 2.5L was still used for the turbo motor.
the turbo motor I'd say has the most potential. all the motors can interchange with the same body, it's wiring and certain brackets and other assorted items that have to be changed. i'd say look for a 3.0l or a turbo. 2.5L's can be built up, but the most power will likly still be less than a turbo S
