03' Civic SI vs 03' Focus SVT

Which car do you think would win in a quarter mile race?

2003 Honda Civic SI with 160hp with 132 lbs/ft torque

2003 Ford Focus SVT with 170hp with 145 lbs/ft torque


I think it would be a good race but I would have to say the focus would take it in the 1/4 mile.

What do u think?

What do they weigh? The SVT has it with your current info I would think.

svt would beat a new si. the new civic si's are a joke. they are underpowered and are overweight. they can barely get into the 15's and they do 0-60 in around 8 seconds. hardly even remotely quick. the old si will beat it all day long. the new si has the same hp as the hold one. it only has around 15more ft lb of torque. and weights around 300lbs more then the older si. the new si is a pure joke. i can't believe i actually see people driving it around. but most of them are old ladies. lolz. the svt weights less, and has more hp. the svt is a mid 15 second car. its marginally slower then a nissan sentra SE-R spec V.

Focus SVT: 1/4 mile in 15.8 seconds @ 88.9 mph

I say SVT Focus...looks better, meaner, 6 spd Getrag, and big brakes...

every comparo i've seen from a magazine has the svt handing the civic it's ass...

not by much, but it does.

bigger wheels, better tires, better brakes, more power, more tq...

tq is key...

i'll take an svt simply b/c the si is fugly.
