Big deal, just because he's a nazi doesn't me he wasn't smart. Hell, Hitler was a very intelligent person. Rommel was a brilliant tactician. Just because you don't agree with their views(and neither do i so don't start anything about that) doesn't mean that they aren't intelligent.

Personnally I think that has got to be one of the most intelligent quotes I've ever seen. I do believe that that's definitly going on the locker wall.

I never said he wasn't smart. Hitler may have been a genius, and this guy may have been too, but htat does not overshadow the fact they they were genocidal murderers.

Ah, touche! but the fact that they were genocidal murderers is as they say, bunk. That fact has no relevance to the discussion at hand which is our views on the quote. Doesn't matter who said it, only what is said. An you have to admit that that quote is 100% true and directly applicable to the current situation in america. So, Game on!

If you can't think beyond the blindingly obvious, you'll never be respected as a debater.

Pick, I am sorry to say this, but you are one of the most ignorant people I have seen here on AF. Any intelligent person would be ashamed of the fact that you are trying to 'represent' the 'American views' on this message board.

Flame on, but Hitler was a great leader. Think about it... He unified a group towards a single cause. Was it for the right reason? HELL NO. It was entirely immoral as to why he did it, but the fact is that he did it and did it with hardly anyone else noticing until it was too late.

So... Does that make Bush a great leader? Okay, for as much as I loathe the man, I suppose it does. But as I've already shown, being a good leader doesn't mean you lead for the right cause.

Hitler did far more for Germany than what Bush has done for the US- only problem is his work got undone when he made a few stupid decisions- he was however a genius- and had a power of persuation like no other. Genocide will not change that fact.

Agreed. Dispite his crimes against humanity, he was hands down the best leader in the 20th century in terms of rebuilding the country after WW1 and getting people to do what he said.
