Wiper Arms

We have a 1999 Pontiac Montana van. My wife was driving it today and when she turned the wipers on one stopped working and the other one hit it and they are both not working now. In fact the passenger side one broke off and the stub is the only thing sticking out now. I bought two used arms at a junk yard. Can anyone give me a tip how toinstall. them? I know to turn the key on and then make sure the wipe motor is in the parked position. I am confused from there. Does the passenger side or drivers side sit closest to the cowl? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Wiper Arms

Passenger side is the bottom-most one. Other than that, it is trial and error to get them exactly right.
