Ok so i have a 1988 trans am that had a 305 tpi and i swaped the engine to a 350 carb and the fuel pump has to much psi so i need to cut the wire to the fuel pump and put another one on there but i want to make it easy as possible so where can i put the new fuel pump

you can use the same pump if you put a fuel pressure regulator on it and a just the pressure down to where you need it

steve's idea sounds good to me...if the pump is pushing too much fuel, than a fuel regulator should do the trick
