clutch problems
94 cavalier 2.2 with 5 speed.
Went to start it this morning and pushed the clutch in and it felt like something clicked. The pedal just dangles and isnt pushed back out at all. cant put it into any gear, reverse will grind, but wont move enough on any others. slave resevoir is full. Is this meaning the clutch is out completely, or is there anything else it could be? Not sure if slave cylinder is internal or external.

Re: clutch problems
The click you felt may have been the fork that pushes on the throwout bearing breaking. Take a look and see if there's anything noticeable wrong with the slave cylinder, but if the reservoir is full, chances are it's a mechanical break somewhere.

Re: clutch problems
Ill try and check out the slave cylinder in the morning. Just not sure what model transmission I have so I gotta see if its the internal slave or not.But ill have some time to check it out before work.

Re: clutch problems
They're Isuzu transaxles... not sure on the model number, but I think they're all the same.
