Iron head? Approx. 60 lbs or so. I have never weighed one, but this is my best guess at having lifted many of them.

Re: 350 heads

I just weighed one here. 38 lbs., "bare", 42 with valves and springs. That's a factory iron 350 head, circa 1995.

I think I need to recalibrate my pansy-ass forearms. That's lighter than I thought. Older heads, especially pre-80's may weigh a few pounds more.

MR,

Yup. I just weighed an "882" (early '70s, heavy wall). 42 lbs. "bare". Add 4 for hardware.
