I need vats help 91 z28 camaro please help!!!

I just got a 91 z28 camaro, and it wont even attempt to click or crank the starter.i kno it has somthing to do with my vats.the only problem is that the origanal steering column was screwed up becouse the guy i got the car from cracked it n stuff trryin to get ou the old key lock cylender. I have the column but he lost the key that went to the car/ecm. Knowing this,i dont kno the resistance needed to trick the vats/bypass it. I have tried 8 out the 15 keys and nothing,but now my fuel pump comes on when attepting to start like i got closer to the value of resistance needed,any help on if it could just be the ignition switch ,ecm or vats box,please help this car is to nice to just sit! I kno i can go to the dealer and have them run vin to find out what key# i need but cash is hard to come buy for me right now thanks!!!

Ah C'mon go to the dealer and get one from the VIN. That's the cheapest way to go. A new switch would be way more than that.

if you are attempting to reprogram the vats you should have the theft light flashing or on all the time to reprogram it put the key to the on/run posisition for 10 min till light goes off then turn key off (do not attempt to start ) once key is turned off you can now start the car.
