Porsche 911 Carrera 2

Because the R32 Nismo is dead, the toyota Bb is on hold and the Mitsu FTO is completed.... I had to pick up a new kit.

Again I want a simple Fujimi kit because I still don't have the skills for airbrushing my more expensive kits

So I found this Porsche Carrera 2 from Fujimi:



Not many parts as you can see, but it looks nice though.







The original C2 wheels are nice but not on this model. The look to small on it. So I searched for some others, and found these rare Aoshima VIP wheels. Don't know the name of them anymore.









Tomorrow I'll decide what color it will be. The rims also need a bit of color, because the red plastic don't look good

It looks great Kris! I know it's just the colour of the plastic, but I love the look of the red/chrome wheels with the red body.

For the wheels i'm thinking about gun metal?

and for the interior I thought dark brown leather would be nice.... but I also thinking about other colors.

What do you guys suggest?

interior chocolate brown with camel brown??

or go with your own colors their very cool to.

Yesterday I primed the body with Tamiya Surface Primer grey.





Today I painted the body until it was enough. I decided to use the waterdrup mirrors cuase they look much better than the mickey mouse mirrors I also will place the rearspoiler in the open standing.

I added some Porsche decals on both sides, and added a 3D logo on the front.











I also painted the wheels. I painted them Tamiya XF-56 Metallic Grey. It was an idea from my dad, and I think it looks cool!
I added some logo decals from a vip wheelset.
Tomorrow I'll clearcoat it.



I think they look cool under the car now







Hopefully I find some time to add the 2K laquer tomorrow.

I bought it from HLJ.com. The manufactor is HobbyDesign. It comes with about 100 3D logo's. Small, bigger, color and silver/black.

Looking really good so far, I would have been tempted to have a go at extending the white part of the Porsche decals to each end of the sills for a more flowing look bit that's just me.

Today I started painting the brakediscs with my airbrush.

painted them silver and red calipers:



Then I mixed the 2K laquer to clearcoat the body and the wheels. Unfortunetally my mother didn't saw my model drying in my room, so she continues doing my clothes..... Results are some dusts in the dry clearcoat. Meanwhile I sanded them away as far as possible and tomorrow I'll add another layer.









I also painted the basic color for the interior. Leather Brown from Humbroll no. 82 MATT.
