key stuck in acc

I cannot remove my key from 2008 Saturn Vue. It will start but when shut off it won;t go past acc into lock where I can remove it. I have also noticed that the shifter moves freely without pushing the button or having to press the brake.

Have you tried moving the steering wheel while trying to turn the key to the off position ?? and the shifter should not move like that I recommend going back to the dealer and let them have a look at it.
