1989 Accord LX steering rack replacement

Hello all!
My wife's car (89 accord LX) has a leaky steering rack. I'm planning to replace it with a certified refurbished rack. I've never done this before but my step father and I are mechanically savvy and are confident we can do it. Was just wondering if anyone has done this before and can offer us any advice or tips on this project. We were wondering about things to be careful of, any parts we should replace while we're in there, things to avoid, etc...Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
