Have you checked the fluid level?? How many miles on vehicle?? When was the last fluid and filter change of the tranny?? Do tranny slip when hot, cold or both? Need more info on symptoms.

Re: 1995 Buick Regal 3100 motor

Tranny 2 yrs old, slips hot, rebuilt motor has 65,000 miles, same as trnsmission. In process of changing gasket, filter . Fluid is filled correctly, with correct kind. Wanting opinion if i should find another rebuilt and put it since motor is apart to replace other seals and gaskets.??? It only slips if i really get on it from a stop, or in passing gear about to pass someone, city driving is ok. Sorry have been working on other vehicle not watching this closely, will now that i have a responder THANX ALOT!!

Re: 1995 Buick Regal 3100 motor

I had Cottman rebuild my transmission in my 96 3100. They screwed the pooch. They put my exhaust on wrong and the floor shifter was still in 2 when the shifter said D. I had to have them do it again due to the emissions testing in PA. My original problem was a long shifting time between 2 and 3 gears.
