Tensioner pully for 98 3.0
I've replaced the actual pulley on the assembly, but when I hit a large water puddle the serpentine belt slips off. I noticed that with the new pulley the belt rides close to the edge. I think it may be time to just replace the whole assembly? I grow tired of putting the belt back on every time we get rain. Looking at this project, it seems like its going to be a bear to get this assembly out. I cant see any mounting bolts from a top view.
Has anyone done this on a 3.0 before? Will I need to take out the clutch fan to make clearance?
Thanks for any feed back guys,
JP
