Went to grease lower ball joints on a Cry van town & Country and found some strange grease fittings.
![]() Regular grease gun will not work on them. Crazy things have no shoulder on fittings. Is there a good reason for them to be like that? Thanks MT

Re: 07 Cry van grease fitting.
A tool like the bottom one on page 8 would work on the older low profile fittings.
http://www.autopart.com/tools/help/c.../lubetools.pdf With this tool you did not have to pull the tire off to lube the ball joints. With some wheels used in the past there was very little clearance between the two. |

I have used the 7762 grease gun tool. Works good on old type fittings. Also helps on some hard to reach tie rod ends But the new type on 07 lower ball joints grease zerks have no shoulder on them for it to fit on. Thanks

Re: 07 Cry van grease fitting.
I took those fittings out and replaced with 90 degree fittings.

Re: 07 Cry van grease fitting.
Thanks
For the info. I used one 90 on one side and one 45 on the other. Looks like 45 may be better fit. But anything is better than what it had.
