Ignition Problem
Hey, my car was broken into and they took off the part where u turn your car on...believe is the ignition switch. My key will not fit in there nemore because its stuck somehow. I can't turn the switch forward or backward. I guess they tried to turn it out and it's now stuck in that position, so I cant turn my car off because my key wont fit in there nemore. My doors will no longer lock. So i'm wanting to know how much damage have they caused to my vehicle. I have a 2000 Grand Prix SE. I hope I have explained it right
Please help.

Re: Ignition Problem
you're going to need at minimum an ignition lock cylinder. With out seeing the column there is no way we can say what you're going to need. They may have also broke the housing the cylinder mounts in, the brake/shifter interlock switch, etc... I think your best bet is going to be to have the car towed somewhere and looked at.

Re: Ignition Problem
Dirty Theives! Did they think they were going to be able to start a GM PK3 car anyways? Obviously not very bright people.
