Don't see why there is not a lot of attention to this build. Its stunning. The paint work and cf came out excellent. Sucks the interior is so plain, but the cf did add some spice to it. Keep us posted.

Re: Nismo Z Super GT

Outstanding work, as usual. Your CF decal abilities make me jealous. Did you drill your own holes on the flooring and on the roll cage? And what did you use for roll bar padding?

Can't wait to see the next phase of decaling!

I did drill out the chassis holes and deepened the rollcage holes. The padding is molded but I have found thatwrapping Tamiya's masking tape painted black over these areas is easier than trying to mask and paint them. I also added the front bar on the rollcage to strengthen it and to help mount the dash securely. It fits up under the dash. I do this on all the cars I do.

The decals look good, nicely applied with care paid to the panel lines. Good work!

Re: Nismo Z Super GT

Looks really good and it shouldnt be to much trouble touching up around that fender. I just had my own private decal hell session. Im beginning to think it might be just a bit to could in the shop for this. lol

There is always allot of touchup with these complex decal jobs. I usually do that after I am doing all the decals. Tamiya's X-7 Red Acrylic matches the red. I try to use the Acrylics because it's safer and sometimes hot paints react with th edge of the decal you are touching up.

Re: Nismo Z Super GT

The decal work looks mighty fine. You are way to honest showing us the little mishappenings there. I wouldnīt have done that for sure.

What did you use for the black rollbar surroundings - canīt think of the correct english word for it now (padding??)?

Cheers

Robert
