Changing color of dash & switch backlighting

On my 2004 Lesabre, what would it take to change the color of my dash lighting (I prefer red over turquoise)? I know that some of the bulbs in the switches have colored caps which could be replaced with red caps or exchanged for red LED's. Fluorescent displays can be changed to some degree with red gel lenses. What is inside the dash cluster - bulbs with colored caps or a blue coating on the back of the gauge faces? Would it be possible to keep the pointers white or some other color? Thanks for any help!
