beautiful, just beautiful

I have been wanting to buy this kit for a long time, but I can't decide between the Tamia or Haswaga kit?

Thanks TurboGuru.
Try Tamiyas kit but choose Studio27 decal if you plan to use Zero paints, because the purple with Tamiya's cartograf set don't much enough...
No (M)ilkCut decals in Tamiya kit. I think Hasegawa contains it, in kit.

Jaguar is nicely built but the impurity is in my view exaggerated. Is where a car from a LM '89 and the weather was cloudy. Here are photos for the race.

I agree 100% with you, but is not a historical correct or a shapshot from past build. I knew it from the beginning, because I didn't have (M)ilk Cut Decals... So I try some modelling technics (my first cf decal job, my first weathering to a car, my first open door etc.) to a lovely model kit. Just that...
Thanks again...

So now I understand. Is this where you had a model to demonstrate techniques.

Re: Tamiya's Jaguar XJR-9LM 1/24

I think this is a really nice build.. especially with the open door and the weathering ! It looks realistic and is a very nice touch ! BUT I must say that I noticed something you may think of in the future.. For being such a dirty car, it is quite strange that it has absolutely fresh tires !? When doing a weathering.. remember to do it ALL OVER ! but as you said it was just a model to try some new things and over all it´s a really nice build to look at !

GREAT JOB !

Thanks for your comment.
You are right, but after four months on this model I want to see it finished, so my car is just after a pitstop .

Lovely job

You have captured just the look that I envisaged for mine and I hope that mine will look even half as good as this when I finally get round to building it.

Thanks a lot my friend klutz...
I 'm 110% that you can do it much much better and I am not lucky because I made it before yours, so I can't steal ideas...
