the easiest way is when the car is running (And running like crap) just unplug the MAF and the car will run in default if it clears up the poor running condition it is the MAF . I just recently replaced mine with a reman unit only to adopt someone else issue which threw me a curve for a few till I did the above only to find out the new reman was bad changed out issue corrected
