Smile Quadrasteer Driving Impression

I test drove a 2004 Chevy Silverado Quadrasteer once just before buying my current vehicle and I loved it so much I would have bought it if it weren't out of my price range by around $10,000. Despite being happy with my current 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee that test drive was the most brilliantly thrilling, entrancingly, High performance enhanced test drive I ever took. I'm thinking seriously of buying one used soon just to have it; and perhaps after putting a new engine in one I'd have it just like brand new. That would be a truck I'd keep for life! I really do think that GM's decision to discontinue the Quadrasteer line of its trucks was most highly unfortunate. That full sized truck handled better than a compact car. I remember I was driving on the I-610 interstate during the test drive in the New Orleans area and the salesman requested to me while it was raining hard, in a blinding torrent, with hydra planning possibilities very high to exit while executing a hard right turn after I nearly missed the exit at 60 mph. That truck just swished on through the turn with all 4 tires pointing in the same direction like a bald eagle in a wind sheer event as gracefully and flawlessly as an olympic ice skater. I'll never forget it. It amazed me beyond what I could have ever imagined that truck could do under such conditions. I know these trucks didn't sell well because of costs but man do I wish they'd be reintroduced again perhaps as trucks with Quadrasteer as a add on option. The truck even stopped way shorter that I though it would because of its extra bed width and weight on the back axel, and the way the quadrasteer would then turn the back wheels in the opposite direction as the front wheels in order to help it slow down even more gracefully and rapidly. Man what a truck. I just gotta get me one. The safest truck ever made in the world.
