My bro has a 22RE in his 1987 toyota pickup right now, he wants to change to a V6 of some sort? This worth it? What kind of options does he have? This might sound rediculous, but can you use the 22RE tranny with any V6's? 220 Toyota V6? Help me out..

I am getting ready to get rid of my 4 cylinder for a 5 liter mustang engine, I know they make an adaptor to change the bellhousing on the toy 5 speed so it bolts right up to a 302 block and bolt in motor mounts for the 302 also, its all a matter of wiring it up. As for the v6 if he gets a toyota v6 he would have no prob.
