New Lurker Coming Out of the Woodwork

Hi All,

A couple of the posts earlier calling to action all the 'lurkers' on here gee'd me up to get the balls to post some of the stuff that I've churned out in my spare time.

I've been 'lurking' for little while on the forum, cos i love admiring the great work on here - theres a lot of incredible(and intimidating) talent. But like you say, I could probably learn a lot more by sharing some of my work.

Just as background: I love cars, and theres nothing better than kicking back and losing myself in a drawing in my free time. (Would do it for a living if I could, but wont be quitting my day job anytime soon lol!) I only do graphite stuff - pretty raw/basic with just freehand and pencil. no idea how to do colours properly or use fancy software, etc.

It seems theres tonnes of experienced, talented artists here and would be great to get all your C&C's on a couple of my drawings below. Let me know what you think

Ferrari 599 - the first car i drew a few years back which I really put some time and effort into.

Ferrari 250GTO - one of my all time favourite cars. but i cocked up by using a really thin paper to draw, so it got pretty wrinkly in the end.

....hope the images appear, fingers crossed

Re: New Lurker Coming Out of the Woodwork

welcome man

the work looks great!

excellent tonal work.

I'm a tool-a-phile so I would recommend an ellipse set to lock down thoses tires but it could be the scan or my monitor.

Welcome out of the shadows.

I hope to see more of your work and more of your point of view.

Great work on this car, and an amazing choice for a shot.
