2002 Grand AM problem
I started my car up tonight and noticed the tail lights were not working, the break lights would not light up when I hit the break either. I got into my car to turn it off and I noticed that the red lights that light up the speedometer, RPM, and gas gauge are not working either. I checked relevant fuses and none were blown.
I decided to deal with this tomorrow, but whenever I tried to lock my car with my keyless entry the horn didn't honk and the front lights didn't blink. I tried to use the driver side power lock and that doesn't work either, the passenger side is also not working. I don't know what is going on! My headlights and blinkers(both front and back) are working fine. My ABS and Hazard Lights button both have the red lights working, and the ceiling light works fine. Any suggestions for what I should look for would be appreciated. |

Re: 2002 Grand AM problem
does your car shift out of park? I'm willing to bet it wont
![]() sounds like a bad brake switch. it its not that...my next guess would be a bad ignition harness.

Re: 2002 Grand AM problem
Yes it will shift out of park. It might be the ignition harness, I was recently messing around with my stereo, I will go take a look at get back to you.
Thanks for your input. |

Re: 2002 Grand AM problem
wire back your radio the way it was, I think that you need special radio harness for your aftermarket radio or some things will not work
